![]() As you can see, the airplane looks great. So for those of you interested in the new iFly 747 here are a few quick shots (in no particular order). The reason I am writing this is because I always appreciate a little info on a new airplane. ![]() No one has declared me the King of flight sim, nor do I place that title on myself but #1 - I've been 'simming' since FS95.and #2 - I'm a real-world aircraft mechanic who has many MANY hours working on 747s and know the systems/sounds/characteristics of the real airplane pretty well. Maybe a little better than 'OK', I would say 'pretty good'. And for now, that's exactly what this bird is. I'm not going to recommend something that's just 'OK'. ![]() I did buy it (since the PMDG 747 is what - almost 8 years old now?) figuring that a new and improved 747 is a great thing. ![]() I know what you all are thinking: 'this thing can't touch a PMDG 747'. As a long time flyer of the iFly 737NG, I was thrilled to hear that iFly was releasing their 747-400 for both FSX and FS2004. ![]()
